I wake up
Drowning in paper
And words,numbers
Calendars and history
I feel the pain of a broken heart
As it beats a broken beat
Making the pain in my left arm flare
Running on carbonated energy
My mind spins out of control
And like the hobo it is
Jumps a train that runs a track
That brings it back
Faster faster
Thoughts blur by like the country side
Another random weekend in Philadelphia
Where the sun always shines
I walk city streets to ease my mind
And wake to my flannel sheets and
The dog whining for his breakfast
